2018 Seminole Service Day
Seminole Service Day is upon us again, and this year it falls on St. Patrick’s Day. We are again volunteering with the San Diego Food Bank, and we hope you can join us for what will surely be a rewarding day of service and Seminole camaraderie. So, get your favorite Seminole gear ready to roll for Saturday March 17.
What you need to know:
The San Diego Seminole Club registration window opens February 18 and closes on March 10. Every volunteer must be individually registered (yep, even kids) with the San Diego Food Bank (details below). There are a limited number of spots for our volunteers, so sign up early as any remaining spots will be released from our block after March 10. Kids ages 11 and up arewelcome to join in the fun and community service.
If you volunteered with us at the San Diego Food Bank last year, you will need to go to http://
If this is your first time volunteering at the San Diego Food Bank, visit the link above. Click on “create an account” to create your user name and password. Enter join code “sem1” (case sensitive), fill out account information and click “finish.” Scroll to event date 3/17 and register for the shift labeled “Afternoon Shift Warehouse Volunteer.”
Everyone must wear closed toe shoes (sorry, no flip flops, San Diego Seminoles) and should arrive 15 minutes ahead of the scheduled shift. Late arrivals will not be allowed to volunteer (their rules, not ours).
We look forward to seeing everyone. It will indeed be a happy St. Patrick’s Day. Go ‘Noles!!
After you sign up – let us know you’re coming by RSVPing on our Facebook Event Page: https://www.facebook.com/events/2008642009410725/
